Come a little closer, dear reader.

This is a small corner of the world where the beautiful and the wounded are allowed to sit beside one another. Where red umbrellas shelter complicated stories, where laughter can bloom in the darkest places, and where innocence isn’t quite as simple as we once believed.

Some stories are difficult. Some are messy. Some are funny, strange, or beautifully bittersweet. There are stories of exploitation, survival, heartbreak, friendship, and finding your voice after someone tried to take it away.

But this isn’t only a story about what happened to me.

It’s about what happened after.

About picking up the pieces and discovering they can still catch the light. About learning that healing isn’t a straight road but a crooked path through the woods, full of unexpected flowers, thorns, wrong turns, and the occasional fairy godmother.

It’s about the people who left footprints on my heart. Some were gentle, some painful, some permanent. It’s about remembering those we’ve lost and carrying their stories forward.

I believe sex workers deserve dignity, safety, autonomy, and the simple radical freedom to have their boundaries respected. I believe survivors deserve to be heard without having to prove their pain is worthy of listening to. I believe people can be complicated without being villains, wounded without being broken, and imperfect without being unworthy of love.

So consider this blog a little cabinet of curiosities.

These are my stories.

Not always pretty.
Not always easy.
But mine.

And if something here makes you laugh, cry, think, remember, question, or feel a little less alone then perhaps the stories have found exactly where they are meant to be.

Stay awhile.
There’s always another story waiting beneath the surface.
